Token of the Forest…
“I’m 26 based near Needham market and I create bespoke furniture and gifts for the home and garden from recycled whisky and wine barrels. I also use other reclaimed materials such as scaffold boards, cable reels and cast iron metal work to create unique and quality products.”
Barrel Bar + 4 Stools. Barrel bar table with cable reel top and 4 barrel stools made from whisky barrel staves – £850
Two seater bench – Handmade to order from recycled whisky barrel staves, the natural curve of the barrels lends itself perfectly for a comfortable bench – £395
Candle Holder made from a barrel stave with original metalwork – £25
Miss Maude…
“I am known as Maude, a pet name form childhood. I love to crochet, knit and weave, mostly small items like figerless mitts, hats, woven scarves and sometimes a few novelty items especially near Christmas. I am by no means a master weaver yet but have held many crochet classes for a friend and family member who have yarn shops. I price my items individually according to the cost of materials but keep them as reasonable as I can and I use good quality yarn.”
