Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to our most frequently asked questions.

Can I pay for my table on the day of the craft fair?

No, the craft fair would not be able to run if this was our policy, we have to pay upfront for venue hire & promotional expenses such as advertising, posters & flyers etc. We ask for payment in advance either by cash, cheque or bank transfer.

Do I need to bring my own table?

You can bring your own table if you wish, but we supply tables and chairs.

How do you advertise the event?

We advertise in the local press, through social media and online advertising, posters and flyers are offered to our crafters for them to advertise, we display posters in local shops and local area, we have also been featured several times on local radio closer to the event.

How do I apply to exhibit at an event?

Please use the get in touch button below to contact us, we do like to see examples of your crafts before we send you a booking form. These don’t have to be professional photos, they could be snaps taken at a previous event or even at home.

If you have a website or Facebook page then a link would be useful so we can see your crafts. The reason for this is so that we can get an idea of your crafts and it helps us to maintain a high quality of crafters at our events.

How will I find the location and what time is set-up?

One week prior to the event you will be sent an email with ‘A few last details…’ The email will contain all set-up details, parking information and any extra information that I think would be useful.

Can I leave the event before 4pm?

No, we ask that all crafters exhibit from 10am – 4pm. We feel it looks very unprofessional to start to pack your stall away before the end of the event and is unfair on exhibitors that want to stay until the end. We also find that the public will visit the event right up until closing and you may miss out on sales.

How can I pay?

We accept payment via cheque, cash or bank transfer. We don’t accept Paypal due to the charges they make which we would have to pass onto the crafter. If sending a cheque, please DON’T post date the cheque. Your booking is only confirmed once payment is received so by post-dating a cheque doesn’t secure a booking and creates confusion, please only send a booking form when you are able to pay for your table.

If you still have a question not answered here, please get in touch so we can answer it for you.
