“About me … I am 58 and have lived in Gazeley for last 30 years and retired from my career in accountancy in 2020 due to ill health (diagnosed with early onset Parkinson’s disease when I was 42) During lockdown I started Upcycling furniture for sale and in order to use up leftover paint I began painting wooden hearts and making bunting. I can do this when I am able to in my own time so it’s fits in well with my ability. I also make other items such as gift tags, gift bags , advent calendars etc but mainly bunting. I don’t have a website. I did use Etsy but decided they took too much commission. I don’t tend to make the same item in the same style twice! I also make bunting to order. Prices vary according to the number of hearts / length of buying but as an example a ten heart (10mm) string would be around £15-£20 and the advent calendars around £35-£50.”
